DIY Roller Shade

Our kitchen window by the sink has been empty since we moved into the house.

The window didn’t look bad. Just plain. There are only woods behind our house so we didn’t have an immediate need for privacy.

Inspiration hit when I found this tutorial for a DIY roller shade on Pinterest. A yard of fabric, a $7.00 roller shade from Home Depot, and some fabric glue later…

So cute!  I won’t write out the instructions since the tutorial I used does a good job for this simple project.
